  Having moved from up north to Tenby in Wales four years ago I would like to share my disopintment with the Tenby surgery, I must also point out that some doctors have been fantastic when requiring treatment and some not so good.
  
  However getting to see a doctor at all is a issue! It's like a lottery on which receptionist you get, or if the receptionist deems your condition requires to see the doctor at all!!! When on earth did it become come appropriate for a receptionist to asking why you need to see a doctor in the first place.
  
  On many occasions Ive been basically spoken to like dirt and have witnessed this Happening to others! For the last month I've been trying to get appointment to speak to a doctor (not a nurse subscriber) about my medications etc as the last nurse subcipber told me Tamadol was not a opiate!!!! I didn't apear to be able to give my any advice on my current condition
  
  So eventually given in as asking for face to face appointments the 8.30am call system is a joke 8.33 I was told there were no appointment left so to be far phone consultations were arranged with no physical examanations which have been requested
  
  Also if you call the reciption with any issues or information don't expect common curtesy as this also seems to largely depend on whom answers the phone.

  Refused to see a young child with a rapidly developing rash until much later in the day. St John's ambulance personnel and later the hospital at Haverfordwest indicated that he should have been seen by the doctor!! This is often why people go straight to A& E!! Not an acceptable level of service for the NHS at the foundation level. All credit to all the others involved.
